After several weeks of proofing, revising, and cutting relentlessly, I have now released a fully updated, corrected, and revised edition of Snake River on Amazon.

Coming back to the book after a year, I was able to look at it with fresh eyes and act on the reader feedback that I received. This new version is tighter, cleaner, and leaner than the old one, and I feel very confident that this is the definitive version.

I also made the small but important decision of changing the main character’s name. He used to be named Rob Monroe. Now, he is Rob Malone. I feel that Malone is a much stronger and more suitable name for this character. The name Malone has this toughness and world weariness that fits his character perfectly.

The book also has a fresh cover. I kept the maritime cover design made by my artist Adam Hay, only we removed the three characters and the tagline. The characters could make some people think “dark romance” when they see it, and Snake River is definitely not a romance. This new cover is more appropriate for an atmospheric thriller like Snake River.
